Job Summary:

We keep growing! We’re searching for a talented and enthusiastic Part Time Commis Chef/Cook to expand our kitchen team. As a key player in our culinary family, you’ll be crafting delicious, authentic Mexican dishes that will delight our guests. If you have a love for Mexican cuisine and a knack for cooking, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, ensuring top-notch quality and presentation.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Help with food prep, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and making salsas and sauces.
Follow recipes and presentation standards to consistently deliver delicious meals.
Manage inventory and keep track of supplies to ensure we’re always ready to cook up something amazing.
Work efficiently and effectively during busy service times, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.

Qualifications:

Basic Spanish
Previous experience as a cook, with a focus on Mexican cuisine.
Passion for cooking and a deep appreciation for authentic Mexican flavours.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A positive attitude and a love for bringing smiles to our guests’ faces through delicious food.
