Location: Clondalkin
Reports to: Head Nurse/Lead Vet

Schedule: Full Time - 5 days/week 1:4 Saturday 1:13 Sunday (Dundrum)
Part Time position will be considered

Salary: €29,432.00 per year

We’re a friendly, passionate GP clinic that also offers exciting referral services (endoscopy, laparoscopy and internal medicine and feline medicine) and we’re looking for a front-desk superstar to be the welcoming face of our team! If you’re someone who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment and loves being the calm, friendly voice at the end of the phone (or front of the desk), you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

What you’ll bring: Exceptional customer care skills – warm, patient, and always ready to help Great IT skills – comfortable navigating booking systems, emails, and databases A quick learner with excellent attention to detail Calm and collected under pressure, with a positive and proactive attitude

While we’re a GP clinic at heart, we also get to do some seriously cool stuff through our referral services - so no two days are ever quite the same! You’ll be part of a warm, supportive team where we genuinely look out for one another and make space for learning, laughter, and good coffee (or tea - we don’t judge).

Your role will include: Welcoming clients and patients with a smile Managing bookings for both general practice and referral appointments Supporting our vets and nurses with smooth daily operations Keeping things organised and running like clockwork! About the role

The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and delivering an excellent client experience; you will be the first point of contact for clients and patients at our clinic.

Greet all visitors and welcome them to the clinic
Answer and direct phone calls
Schedule appointments
Checking in patients
Collecting payments
Maintain records as necessary
Manage the receptionist area and assist with admin tasks as needed
Assist Vet nurses and Vets with patient care when necessary
Undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned

About you

Minimum 2 years reception experience (required)
Ideally one-year Veterinary receptionist experience
Ability to maintain a positive attitude
You are highly motivated, hard-working, and a strong team player
You have excellent customer care and communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and patient care
