North Cork Electrical Ltd is a rapidly growing renewable energy company specialising in residential and commercial Solar PV installations throughout Ireland.
We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Solar PV Project Administrator to become a key member of our operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technology, documentation and project coordination while playing a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service.
About the Role
As our Solar PV Project Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring every project is fully prepared before installation.
Working closely with our sales team, surveyors, warehouse and installers, you will review project information, validate technical details and generate the documentation required to keep projects moving efficiently.
You will also use our innovative NCE Project Builder™ software to create professional Customer Approval Packs and automatically generate Warehouse Bills of Materials (BOMs).
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving and working within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce professional Customer Approval Packs.
- Generate accurate Warehouse Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Review survey information for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify equipment selections and project specifications.
- Ensure projects comply with company engineering standards.
- Prepare installer and project documentation.
- Coordinate with sales, surveyors, scheduling and warehouse teams.
- Follow up on outstanding information to avoid project delays.
- Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and project management systems.
- Upload and manage project photographs, drawings and supporting documents.
- Assist with SEAI grant documentation and compliance paperwork.
- Continuously improve documentation processes and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Confidence working with technical information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage:
- Solar PV
- Electrical contracting
- Construction
- Engineering administration
- Technical document control
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- CRM systems
- Microsoft 365
- ServiceM8 or similar project management software
- SEAI grant administration
