North Cork Electrical Ltd is a growing solar PV and electrical contractor delivering residential and commercial renewable energy projects throughout Ireland.
We are seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage the purchasing, inventory and supply of materials that keep our installation teams operating efficiently.
This is a key operational role, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time while maintaining accurate stock levels and strong supplier relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for purchasing materials, monitoring inventory, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring all projects have the required equipment available before installation.
Working closely with our project administration, warehouse, installation and management teams, you will play a vital role in keeping projects running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging and electrical materials.
- Maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse locations.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock quantities.
- Forecast stock requirements based on the installation schedule.
- Generate purchase orders and place supplier orders.
- Source new suppliers and negotiate pricing where appropriate.
- Monitor supplier lead times and deliveries.
- Resolve supplier shortages and delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Carry out regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries.
- Ensure warehouse stock is organised and correctly labelled.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure projects are fully picked.
- Produce purchasing reports and stock valuation reports.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory control.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong numerical ability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Solar PV
- Electrical wholesale
- Construction
- Procurement
- Inventory management
- Warehouse operations
- ERP or stock management systems
- ServiceM8 or similar software

Pay: €28,598.63-€40,232.51 per year
