If so, then we have an opening for you! </div><div>Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, the Manufacturing Technician 3 will provide technical support to our Packaging department for the improvement, installation, validation and transfer of replicate custom automated equipment used in the scale-up of manufacturing for existing or new Dexcom products. These duties include supporting cross functional equipment deployment teams while working with outside suppliers to meet equipment specifications and timelines. </div><div><b>Where you come in: </b> </div><ul><li>You will work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. </li><li>You will test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test equipment </li><li>You will operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems. </li><li>You will analyse and record test results, and prepare written documentation </li><li>You will perform operational test and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment. </li><li>You will carry out activities in equipment development under supervision of the project engineer. These activities include the assembly and testing of equipment, fixtures, processes and/or electronics, completing engineering studies and validations. </li><li>You will follow Dexcom’s Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program. </li><li>You will assume and perform other duties as assigned. </li><li>You will perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements. </li><li>You will update equipment related documentations (manuals, drawings, and specifications) as needed. </li></ul><div><b>What makes you successful: </b> </div><ul><li>Typically requires a Level 6/7 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience </li><li>Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications </li><li>Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers </li><li><b><u>Knowledge of and experience with PLC and Automated production/process equipment is desirable</u></b>. Experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro/Mechanical systems and Resistance welders is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience with process improvement projects i.e. improving yields, reducing downtime </li><li>Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skills </li><li>Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes </li><li>Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development - Experienced in the creation and revision of technical documentation </li></ul><div><b>What you’ll get: </b> </div><ul><li>A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
