Full job description

DEX has been a leading global provider of supply chain solutions since 1980. DEX manufactures, distributes, and repairs electronic parts and assemblies for customers. DEX has deep capabilities in servicing clients during manufacturing shortages, when components are unavailable in the global marketplace, and even when small quantities are available. While we specialize in hard-to-find parts, we source, manufacture, and repair an extensive range of parts across multiple verticals.

For over 40 years, DEX has delivered supply chain solutions by understanding the unique complexity of each customer’s business. Our customer portfolio spans multiple industries, including healthcare, renewable energy, communications, networking, consumer electronics, semiconductor, and industrial end-markets.

We are looking for goal-driven, self-motivated, and ambitious Sales Managers (i.e. AEs) to bring in new business and manage existing clients. The ideal candidate must be energetic, passionate, creative, resourceful, and a good communicator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Research prospects, set meetings, create and give sales presentations, and ultimately build strong business relationships with new clients in key locations.

2. Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and daily prospecting.

3. Understand customer needs and overcome objections.

4. Close sales in order to achieve or surpass monthly quotas.

5. Maintain and expand your database of prospects.

6. Successfully build a pipeline and close deals.

7. Take initiative and offer insight in generating new leads.

8. Keep your CRM up to date – the selected candidate will be extremely comfortable with CRM systems and using them daily to log calls, input new targets and opportunities.

9. Adhere to DEX’s quality system policies, applicable standards, and quality manual as dictated.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Industry Sales Experience: 5+

Test: Yes

Acceptable Test Score: 70+

Skills: Ambitious self-starter with the drive to succeed, strong phone presence and comfortable prospecting, must have a grasp of Lead Generation strategies, excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong listening and presentation skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively, easily adapt to a changing environment, and must be a team player.

PAY:

Basic: 55k-60k plus unlimited Commission
