Chef Manager

Build a name with big-brand businesses and corporate clients, delivering high-quality nutritious meals for boardroom lunches, executive events, and daily workplace dining. This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.
What you'll do:

Food Preparation & Service
-
Prepare and deliver approximately 25 main meals daily, along with supper and Breakfast
-
Ensure meals are nutritious, well-presented, and suitable for residents
-
Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency
-
Menu Planning & Ordering
-
Plan balanced and varied menus
-
Manage stock control and place orders
-
Minimise waste and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients
-
Team Management & Compliance
-
Lead and manage a small team on a daily basis
-
Ensure all staff comply with health & safety and food safety regulations
-
Monitor HACCP procedures, cleaning schedules, and safe systems of work
-
Address any issues or non-compliance appropriately

Scheduling & Organisation

Prepare and manage staff rotas
-
Ensure adequate staffing levels across a 7-day operation
-
Manage holidays and arrange cover when required
-
Administration (Light Duties)

Support basic administrative tasks
-
Provide occasional cover for payroll or admin during holidays
What you'll bring:
-
Experience as a Chef Manager or senior chef
-
Strong leadership and team management skills
-
Experience with staff scheduling and rota planning
-
Good understanding of health & safety and HACCP
-
Ability to work independently and take ownership
