Full job description

We are a well-established and growing retail department store offering an extensive range of homeware, hardware, electrical, furniture, gardening, and seasonal products. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, strong community relationships, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy department store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service, managing stock and merchandising, and leading a team across multiple departments including homeware, hardware, gardening, and seasonal products.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and develop store staff to achieve sales and service goals.
Drive sales growth and deliver store performance targets.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.
Oversee merchandising, stock control, and inventory management.
Manage daily store operations.
Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Control costs and support the profitability of the business.

Key Requirements:

- Supervisory/Team Lead: 1 year

- Strong Sales track record: 1 year

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Commercial awareness with a focus on sales and profitability.

- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Package:

Salary band €45,000-€55,000 DOE + performance related bonus.
22 days annual leave.
