Intro: We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Solar PV Installers to join our growing Installations Team based in Westport, Co. Mayo. This role involves the installation of Solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and ground-mounted projects across Connaught.
The successful candidate will work on-site installing solar PV panels and mounting systems while ensuring all work complies with building regulations, SEAI standards, and company health & safety procedures.
Position: Full Time Position.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with the installation of solar PV panels and mounting systems on various roof types
- Install solar PV systems on residential, commercial, and ground-mounted projects
- Safely transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas
- Support the installation team with day-to-day site activities
- Ensure projects are completed within scheduled deadlines
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site regulations
- Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas
- Travel to installation sites across Connaught
- Work safely and confidently at heights
This is an exciting opportunity for a Solar PV Installer General Roofing Operative to join our company and gain a skill set within the renewable energy sector.
Requirements:
- Experience working with slate, tile, and corrugated roofs
- Previous solar installation experience preferred
- Full clean driving licence
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
- Ability to work to a high standard both independently and as part of a team
- Safe Pass certification
- Manual Handling certification
- Working at Heights certification
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
