Key Account Manager

We deliver high-quality solutions to clients across manufacturing, pharmaceutical, construction, and commercial sectors. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to lead service delivery across the Southeast region, with a primary focus on Waterford (working out of the Waterford Office).

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for managing people, driving operational performance, solving day-to-day business challenges, and building lasting client relationships.

The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of multiple client sites, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will lead and develop teams, resolve operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and act as a trusted partner to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Develop Teams: Manage, motivate, and develop a team of 20+ employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.

Operational Management: Oversee daily service delivery across multiple client sites, ensuring resources, schedules, and standards are effectively managed.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, employee issues, and client escalations while driving continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client partnerships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Performance & Compliance: Monitor operational performance, service quality, and compliance with health, safety, and company standards.

Commercial Responsibility: Support contract retention and growth through effective cost management, site assessments, and identification of new business opportunities.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver operational excellence and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

Proven track record of managing operations, facilities, or contracted services, including leading teams, maintaining strong client partnerships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Demonstrated success managing large, dispersed, or multi-site teams.
Strong people management and leadership capability with a passion for developing others.
Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Sharp logistical and scheduling skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
Experience operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Experience working within or managing services for Pharmaceutical, Construction, or Manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Full clean driving licence license is essential as this role involves client site visits.
