Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash to join our busy bakery team at Sunstreet Foods in Tuam.

This is a permanent, part-time daytime position, working approximately 20–25 hours over 5 days per week.

No evening work. Some Saturday work may be required depending on our production schedule.

The role includes:

Washing baking trays, mixing bowls, utensils and bakery equipment
Keeping the pot-wash area clean, tidy and organised
General cleaning of the bakery and production areas
Emptying bins and maintaining high cleaning standards
Keeping equipment and work areas ready for the production team
Helping with other simple kitchen tasks when required

This is a busy and physical role, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, efficient and happy to work at a good pace. You should be able to work independently, stay on top of the wash-up and take pride in keeping your area clean and organised.

Previous kitchen, cleaning or pot-wash experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
