We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash to join our busy bakery team at Sunstreet Foods in Tuam.
This is a permanent, part-time daytime position, working approximately 20–25 hours over 5 days per week.
No evening work. Some Saturday work may be required depending on our production schedule.
The role includes:
- Washing baking trays, mixing bowls, utensils and bakery equipment
- Keeping the pot-wash area clean, tidy and organised
- General cleaning of the bakery and production areas
- Emptying bins and maintaining high cleaning standards
- Keeping equipment and work areas ready for the production team
- Helping with other simple kitchen tasks when required
This is a busy and physical role, so we’re looking for someone who is reliable, efficient and happy to work at a good pace. You should be able to work independently, stay on top of the wash-up and take pride in keeping your area clean and organised.
Previous kitchen, cleaning or pot-wash experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours: Approx. 20–25 hours over 5 days per week
Schedule: Daytime hours, no evenings; some Saturdays may be required
Pay: €14.15–€15.00 per hour, depending on experience
