Premier Insurances is a busy, locally owned Insurance Broker based in Thurles, Co Tipperary and we are one of the best independent brokers in Ireland. We are offering an exciting opportunity to an enthusiastic individual who wishes to develop their career in insurance broking. Essential Criteria

Energy and drive with an ability to manage personal lines business in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include a confident telephone manner.
Promote professionalism and integrity.
Minimum APA qualification or working towards.
Applied Systems (Relay) an advantage
Proficient in using internet systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail around procedures and the standard of client files
Compliant with CPD requirements & complete 15 formal hours of CPD each calendar year. These hours must be relevant to the specific function
Minimum 2 years industry experience.

The Role will include:

Being proactive in achieving individual sales targets including prospecting, up selling and cross selling of Personal Lines business.
Handling and processing renewals and managing an existing Personal Lines account.
Advising clients on most suitable cover and identifying further opportunities in additional policies.
Researching insurance companies and negotiating with Insurers to obtain the most suitable/competitive premiums for our clients
Dealing with day-to-day Personal Lines client accounts (MTA queries, claims handling, account processing)

Remuneration & Benefits:

Salary of €32/€36k per annum for a 5-day working week.
Wages are paid weekly
