Job Title: Trainee Accountant

Robert Richardson & Co is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Limerick. The practice provides a full range of accountancy, business support, taxation, payroll, bookkeeping and management accounting services to a diverse portfolio of individual and SME clients.

The Role

This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a progressive firm offering strong career opportunities and an excellent study package.

The successful candidate will be expected to make material contribution as a team member to the preparation of:

· Compiling management accounts and other management reporting.

· Experience will be gained in preparing periodic and annual accounts for both sole trader and SME clients.

· From an early stage, you will have front line engagement with clients.

· Preparing and processing of VAT Returns and Payroll.

Position Requirements

Expect to have, or achieve, an accountancy or business-related degree.
Ambition to become a qualified accountant with a recognised professional body.
Be highly motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently.
Possess excellent communication skills and competency in MS Word and Excel and have good keyboard skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
English language skills both written and spoken.
