Job Title: Trainee Accountant
Robert Richardson & Co is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Limerick. The practice provides a full range of accountancy, business support, taxation, payroll, bookkeeping and management accounting services to a diverse portfolio of individual and SME clients.

The Role

The successful candidate will be expected to make material contribution as a team member to the preparation of:
· Compiling management accounts and other management reporting.
· Experience will be gained in preparing periodic and annual accounts for both sole trader and SME clients.
· From an early stage, you will have front line engagement with clients.
· Preparing and processing of VAT Returns and Payroll.
Position Requirements
- Expect to have, or achieve, an accountancy or business-related degree.
- Ambition to become a qualified accountant with a recognised professional body.
- Be highly motivated and able to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Possess excellent communication skills and competency in MS Word and Excel and have good keyboard skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
- English language skills both written and spoken.
