Job Description

We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable Security Porter to join our team in the Roscommon and Leitrim area. This is a full time position offering 48 hours per week with a combination of day and night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and members of the public. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Control access to the premises and ensure all visitors follow site procedures.
Carry out regular internal and external security patrols.
Monitor the premises and report any suspicious activity or security concerns.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and fire alarms.
Complete incident reports, occurrence books, and shift handover records accurately.
Monitor CCTV systems where required.
Report maintenance, health and safety, or security issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with general porter duties as required by the client.
Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Follow all company and client procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Valid PSA Static Guarding Licence.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work 48 hours per week.
Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full permission to work in Ireland.
