Job Description
We are currently recruiting a professional and reliable Security Porter to join our team in the Roscommon and Leitrim area. This is a full time position offering 48 hours per week with a combination of day and night shifts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and members of the public. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access to the premises and ensure all visitors follow site procedures.
- Carry out regular internal and external security patrols.
- Monitor the premises and report any suspicious activity or security concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and fire alarms.
- Complete incident reports, occurrence books, and shift handover records accurately.
- Monitor CCTV systems where required.
- Report maintenance, health and safety, or security issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with general porter duties as required by the client.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Follow all company and client procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid PSA Static Guarding Licence.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 48 hours per week.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full permission to work in Ireland.
