Serenity Supported Homecare Ltd. t/a Serenity Care is hiring HCA/Support Care Worker in Rathdrum, Wicklow

Role Purpose

The Social Care Worker is responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to all day attenders at Serenity Care. This role ensures that services align with New Directions standards, promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

The HCA/Support Worker will provide high level of clinical care to the service users
The HCA/Support Worker will provide quality person-centred care to meet the needs of the service users in the community
The HCA/Support Worker will promote a caring environment for service users which is conducive to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the service users, through highest standards of professional practice
The HCA/Support Worker will provide care services at highest standards in given assigned tasks and duties.

In the course of your employment, you may have access to or hear information concerning the medical or personal affairs of clients or staff members or other business services of the company. Such records and information are strictly confidential. In addition, records must comply with GDPR policy.

Essential Criteria

QQI Level 5 qualification or equivalent in a relevant healthcare discipline

Experience

Good healthcare assisting skills are essential. Related working experience is mandatory.

Location:

Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow

Pay: From €16.12 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Rathdrum, County Wicklow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Healthcare: 1 year (required)

Language:

English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

QQI level 5 Healthcare Support (required)
