Full job description

M&P O’Sullivan has played an integral role in the Irish Food industry for over 100 years. Over the last 10 years, turnover and headcount has doubled, with significant further growth envisaged over the coming few years, which makes this a fantastic time to join the team. We are currently seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join our team at our Gala store in Portlaoise. The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Operations Manager and the wider store team to support the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the business.

Previous retail experience is essential, and experience using retail EPOS systems, such as CBE or Retail Solutions, would be a distinct advantage.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Inputting and maintaining delivery dockets.
Completing daily cash reconciliations and preparing bank lodgements.
Reconciling cash and preparing ATM lodgements.
Reconciling supplier invoices and preparing payment statements.
Carrying out stock reconciliations and processing stock adjustments.
Preparing and submitting required reports to Head Office.
Providing administrative support with HR-related tasks, including employee records and onboarding documentation.
Assisting with general office administration to ensure the smooth running of the store.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes;

Customer driven with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Hard-working and flexible, with the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
Committed to delivering great customer experiences in a busy environment.

About the job:

Experience is an advantage, 2 years or more ideally.
Available for an immediate start.
Weekly Pay
Hours flexible for the right candidate
