Full job description

20 hours per week

We're looking for a warm, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our busy aesthetic and dermatology clinic in Galway. This is a part-time role (20 hours/week) and you'll need flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, as these are among our busiest clinic times.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional experience from the moment someone walks through the door or picks up the phone. You'll manage bookings, support our clinical team, and help keep the day-to-day running of the clinic smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out
Answering phone and email enquiries, and booking appointments
Managing the clinic diary and coordinating scheduling with clinicians
Processing payments and handling patient records with discretion
Supporting patients with queries about treatments and services
General administrative and clinic support duties

Requirements

Previous reception/administration experience is essential
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with clinic management/booking software
