We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our expanding design studio, Stray Dog, part of the Doggett Group, based in Harold's Cross, Dublin 12.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic designer looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You'll work across a variety of projects, from design layout through to pre-press, gaining valuable experience while working alongside an experienced team. The majority of our work is print based, so an interest in print design and production is essential. A good understanding of digital and pre-press file setup is also essential.

While 1+ years' experience in a design environment is an advantage, it is not essential. We welcome applications from recent graduates or junior designers with a strong portfolio and a willingness to learn.

Key Requirements

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Creative flair with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive, proactive attitude.
A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and work collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Skills

Experience in any of the following would be considered an advantage, but are not essential:

Experience designing brochures and other publications.
Experience with accessible design.
Experience designing social media graphics and assets.
Video, animation, or illustration skills.
Experience with data merge and mailing campaigns.
Experience working with keylines and or packaging/carton design.
