We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our expanding design studio, Stray Dog, part of the Doggett Group, based in Harolds Cross, Dublin 12.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic designer looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You'll work across a variety of projects, from design layout through to pre-press, gaining valuable experience while working alongside an experienced team. A good understanding of digital and pre-press file setup is essential.
While 1+ years' experience in design environment is an advantage, it is not essential. We welcome applications from recent graduates or junior designers with a strong portfolio and a willingness to learn.
Key Requirements
● Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
● Creative flair with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing
high-quality work.
● Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
● A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and work collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Skills
The following would be considered an advantage but are not essential:
● Experience designing brochures.
● Video, animation, or illustration skills.
● Experience with accessible design
● Experience with data merge, mailing campaigns, or packaging/carton design.
