Care Worker – Ref: 17729

Specific Purpose Full-Time, 39 hours per week

Location: Navan Adult Residential Service, Navan. Co. Meath

About the Role:

To facilitate a service user focused service to adults with varying disabilities & complex health needs that include, Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder

What We’re Looking For:

Training in responses to behavior that challenges and medication management.

Minimum of QQI Level 5 in Social Care, or equivalent

Work Experience not essential but would be an advantage

Skills and knowledge in the areas of Autism, Intellectual, Disability, and Mental Health

Full Driving Licence Required

Your Responsibilities:

Promote and actively involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user.

Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users.

Provide personal assistance in all aspects of personal care and manual handling, ensuring comfort and hygiene of service users and adhering to safe practice at all times.

If applicable, candidates will need to provide a police certificate for any country they've lived in before moving to Ireland

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign.

We offer a competitive starting salary of €31,561.64–€35,982.66 per annum (Points 1–5 of the scale), based on qualifications and experience. The 12-point salary scale provides annual progression opportunities up to €43,730.75 per annum plus Sleepover allowance and premium pay for bank Holiday and Sunday Shift.
