Full job description

About the Role

Tadhg O'Connor Ltd is looking for an organised and reliable Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the day-to-day administration of the accounts function.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Match invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes
Reconcile supplier statements
Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal departments
Update and maintain supplier pricing information within the ERP system
Investigate and resolve account variances in a timely and efficient manner
General accounts and administrative duties

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
An inquisitive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving variances
