Full job description

We are looking for an experienced 3D professional to join our design office in Kilmorna, Listowel, Co. Kerry.

You will work with customer-supplied STEP files, preparing production-ready models in Fusion 360 before nesting them using machine-specific software, which you will be fully trained on.

Key Responsibilities

Import and work with customer STEP files and 3D models
Prepare and modify production-ready models using Fusion 360
Create laser cutting nests using BySoft and ArtTube software (training provided)
Validate CAD models, engineering drawings and Bills of Materials
Release production-ready jobs to the laser cutting department
Work closely with engineering and production teams

Requirements

Experience using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
Excellent spoken and written English is essential, as the role involves interpreting technical documentation and communicating with engineering and production teams.
Good organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
Authorised to work in Ireland
