We are looking for an experienced 3D professional to join our design office in Kilmorna, Listowel, Co. Kerry.
You will work with customer-supplied STEP files, preparing production-ready models in Fusion 360 before nesting them using machine-specific software, which you will be fully trained on.
Key Responsibilities
- Import and work with customer STEP files and 3D models
- Prepare and modify production-ready models using Fusion 360
- Create laser cutting nests using BySoft and ArtTube software (training provided)
- Validate CAD models, engineering drawings and Bills of Materials
- Release production-ready jobs to the laser cutting department
- Work closely with engineering and production teams
Requirements
- Experience using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential, as the role involves interpreting technical documentation and communicating with engineering and production teams.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Authorised to work in Ireland
