We are currently recruiting a Structural Design Engineer for our Limerick office to work as part of our existing structural design team
The role will include the design of the following:

Mainframe steel

Secondary steel
-
Steel Connection design
-
Foundation and HD bolts
-
Anchor bolts
-
Pipe supports and pipe bridges
-
Miscellaneous platform design
-
Temporary Works design
Essential Requirements:
-
Minimum Level 8 degree in Structural Design
-
Proficient in the use of Eurocode
-
At least 4 years post-graduate structural design office experience
-
Experienced in Structural Steel design is essential

Chartered Engineer or ambition to achieve Chartered status in near future
-
Ability to work on projects individually and as part of a team

Must have current EU Work Permit

Must have excellent communication skills
-
Must be proficient in English

The position does not lend itself to WFH, therefore the role is 100% office-based
-
Ability to liaise with clients, contractors and consultants
-
Ability to instruct and coordinate steel & RC detailers
-
Must be proficient in the use of Structural Design Software and as a minimum, Tekla Structural Designer, IdeaStatica, Autodesk Robot, Autodesk Revit
