Full job description

Lahinch Corner Kitchen is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Bartender / Waiter / Server to join our team in Lahinch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages to customers.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Prepare coffees and other hot beverages using a professional coffee machine.
Operate the coffee machine confidently and maintain good coffee quality.
Handle payments and operate the till when required.
Keep tables, the bar and service areas clean and organized.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar or similar hospitality role is preferred.
Some experience using a professional coffee machine is especially desirable.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Friendly, positive and professional attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work in a busy environment, particularly during peak periods.
Previous bar experience is an advantage, but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Pay: €12.00-€18.00 per hour
