As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for disciplined and reliable Skilled Operative to join our production team in Allenwood. At Select, we don’t just offer jobs; we offer stable careers with a formalized commitment to training and professional growth.

The Role

As a Skilled Operative, you will be at the heart of our production process. You won’t just be moving materials; you will be ensuring that every product produced meets the "Select Standard" before it reaches a high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Proficiency: Welding/Fabrication experience in Mig welding mild steel and Tig welding aluminium
Machine Operation: Operate advanced CNC sheet metal fabrication machinery (Guillotine, Press Brake, etc.).
Safety Leadership: Adhere strictly to Health & Safety (H&S) protocols—at Select, we believe everyone goes home safe every day.
Team Collaboration: Work proactively within a solution-led team to meet production deadlines and maintain an organized workshop

What You Bring to the Team

Grounded Work Ethic: You are a reliable professional who takes ownership of your tasks and shows up ready to deliver.
Attention to Detail: You understand that accuracy in manufacturing is the foundation of our client relationships.
Physical Capability: Comfortable with manual handling and a fast-paced industrial environment.
Commitment to Safety: A proactive mindset regarding PPE and site safety standards. Full training and PPE provided.
Logistics: A valid Full B Driving Licence and access to your own transport (essential due to our location in Allenwood).
