Full job description

Glenn Cahill Cars is a family owned business with over 30 years experience retailing cars in the Galway area. We have a large and loyal customer base who trust us to advise and source quality cars. Electric cars and Hybrids play an increasingly important role in the stock we carry.

Main Responsibilities

Negotiating vehicle sales and accurately appraising trade-ins
Managing customer enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media
Arranging and managing finance applications with various financial institutions
Taking photographs of vehicle stock and uploading advertisements to platforms including DoneDeal, CarsIreland, Carzone and Facebook
Managing vehicle preparation including servicing, tyres, valeting, bodywork, and ordering parts
Coordinating vehicle handovers and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
Dealing with aftersales queries and warranty-related customer issues
Maintaining a high standard of forecourt and showroom presentation

Requirements

Full clean driving licence
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and computer skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Professional and customer-focused approach
Saturday working is a must
Previous motor trade or sales experience preferred but not essential
Good understanding of social media and online advertising platforms an advantage
