Due to our ongoing expansion, we are continuing to hire General Operators. These are permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Production Operations

Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Set up, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain output and quality targets during the shift.
Carry out in-process inspections and record production data accurately.
Load and unload components and finished parts, ensuring correct handling and full traceability.
Report equipment faults, downtime, or quality issues promptly to the Shift Supervisor.
Support achievement of daily production schedules and output targets.

Quality & Compliance

Follow all quality procedures and work instructions in line with ISO 13485 requirements.
Complete accurate batch records, production documentation, and traceability logs.
Identify and quarantine non-conforming product in line with company procedures.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities as required.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.

Health & Safety

Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with 5S standards.
Report any accidents, near misses, or hazards immediately.
Participate in safety training and toolbox talks.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

Work collaboratively with fellow operators and the Shift Supervisor to meet production targets.
Provide a clear and complete handover to the incoming shift.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Undertake training on new equipment, processes, or product lines as required.

Key Skills and Competencies:

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Solid work history
Leaving certificate or equivalent
Mechanically minded
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work shift - flexible
Manufacturing experience is a plus but not essential as training is given
Team Player
Computer literate
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Ensuring all Health & Safety is being followed.
Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player

A self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Medical device production experience desired
Experience in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering environment
