Full job description

Job Title: Production Technician

Department : Production

Report to : Production Manager

(Additional Reports) Operations Director, Cell Lead

Location: Shannon

Job Purpose : To ensure batches are manufactured in accordance with the relevant SOP and to agreed targets to meet all planning requirements

Key Responsibilities :

Manufacture of batches in accordance with their SOPs including filling, capping and labelling where required
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, in accordance with the 6S programme
Carry out equipment checks and calibrations as per schedule
Liaise with support staff on materials requirement
Ensure all health and safety standards are complied with
Troubleshooting production issues and work closely with/communicate with colleagues in QC and planning to ensure demand requirements are met within the allocated time frame
Be available for upskilling and cross-training where required
Contribute to functional and cross-functional teams as required
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Production Manager, Operations Director or a member of the management team

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for Job:

Knowledge :

Good Laboratory Practice
ISO17025
ISO9001
Chemistry
Good understanding of batch manufacture
ISO17034

Qualifications :

3rd level science qualification, preferably in Chemistry

Ability to organise and prioritise in a deadline-driven environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
