Job Title: Production Technician

Report to : Production Manager
(Additional Reports) Operations Director, Cell Lead
Location: Shannon
Job Purpose : To ensure batches are manufactured in accordance with the relevant SOP and to agreed targets to meet all planning requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Manufacture of batches in accordance with their SOPs including filling, capping and labelling where required
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards, in accordance with the 6S programme
- Carry out equipment checks and calibrations as per schedule
- Liaise with support staff on materials requirement
- Ensure all health and safety standards are complied with
- Troubleshooting production issues and work closely with/communicate with colleagues in QC and planning to ensure demand requirements are met within the allocated time frame
- Be available for upskilling and cross-training where required
- Contribute to functional and cross-functional teams as required
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Production Manager, Operations Director or a member of the management team
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for Job:
Knowledge :
- Good Laboratory Practice
- ISO17025
- ISO9001
- Chemistry
- Good understanding of batch manufacture
- ISO17034
Qualifications :
3rd level science qualification, preferably in Chemistry

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
