Full job description

Mullan design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke and customised decorative lighting pieces for the retail, commercial and hospitality markets.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Operative to join our Painting & Powder Coating department, who is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare lighting components and metal parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, degreasing, and masking surfaces.
Prepare and paint lighting components to high-quality manufacturing standards.
Operate spray-painting equipment and ensure consistent coating application.
Conduct quality inspections to verify finish quality and product specifications.
Maintain painting equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Work effectively within a production environment to achieve daily manufacturing targets.
Assist with assembly, material handling, and general production tasks when required.
Adhere to company quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

Spray painting and surface preparation.
Apply primers, paints, powder coatings, and protective finishes to lighting products according to specifications.
Powder coating and finishing techniques.
Quality inspection and defect identification.
Manufacturing and production processes.
Health and safety compliance.
Attention to detail and teamwork.
Equipment operation and maintenance.

Salary will depend on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €30,000.00 per year
