Job Summary:
We are seeking a General Operative to join our Painting & Powder Coating department, who is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lighting components and metal parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, degreasing, and masking surfaces.
- Prepare and paint lighting components to high-quality manufacturing standards.
- Operate spray-painting equipment and ensure consistent coating application.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify finish quality and product specifications.
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Work effectively within a production environment to achieve daily manufacturing targets.
- Assist with assembly, material handling, and general production tasks when required.
- Adhere to company quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Spray painting and surface preparation.
- Apply primers, paints, powder coatings, and protective finishes to lighting products according to specifications.
