Full job description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Bathroom Renovation Assistant to join our busy renovation team. This role involves assisting with all aspects of bathroom refurbishment projects, helping to ensure work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in a safe manner.

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced tradespeople, including bathroom fitters, plumbers, tilers, and general contractors, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the renovation industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the removal and disposal of existing bathroom fixtures, fittings, tiles, and materials.
Prepare work areas for renovation projects, including protecting floors and surrounding areas.
Support tradespeople with installation of bathrooms, showers, baths, toilets, sinks, and associated fittings.
Assist with measuring, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
Help with basic plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and finishing tasks under supervision.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
Load and unload tools, materials, and deliveries.
Ensure all waste is disposed of appropriately and work sites are left tidy at the end of each day.
Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service when working in clients’ homes.

Essential Requirements

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Good practical and DIY skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
Good communication skills.
Full clean driving licence preferred.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Previous experience in construction, renovation, plumbing, tiling, or a related trade.
Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain).
Manual Handling certification.
Experience using hand and power tools.
