Job Overview

Digital Screen Displays is seeking a skilled and motivated Screen Technician to join our growing technical team in Dundalk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and refurbishing a wide range of digital displays and electronic equipment, including LCD screens, LED displays, touch screens, digital signage units, commercial monitors, kiosks, and interactive display systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company working with cutting-edge digital display technology across retail, hospitality, education, corporate, and public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose faults on commercial LCD and LED display systems.
Repair and replace faulty components including power supplies, mainboards, T-Con boards, LED backlights, touch overlays, and internal wiring.
Conduct workshop testing and quality assurance checks.
Perform screen refurbishment and refurbishment reporting.
Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing.
Assist with warranty repairs and technical support cases.
Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
Prepare equipment for installation and deployment.
Ensure workshop cleanliness and organisation.
Assist with stock management of spare parts and consumables.
Support field engineers when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience repairing monitors, televisions, digital signage screens, or electronic equipment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Experience using multimeters and electronic test equipment.
Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
Good understanding of LCD, LED, and touchscreen technologies.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

Electronics qualification or apprenticeship.
Experience with commercial AV equipment.
Knowledge of networking and media players.
Experience with soldering and component-level repairs.
Experience working with digital signage systems.
Full clean driving licence.
