Job Overview
Digital Screen Displays is seeking a skilled and motivated Screen Technician to join our growing technical team in Dundalk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and refurbishing a wide range of digital displays and electronic equipment, including LCD screens, LED displays, touch screens, digital signage units, commercial monitors, kiosks, and interactive display systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults on commercial LCD and LED display systems.
- Repair and replace faulty components including power supplies, mainboards, T-Con boards, LED backlights, touch overlays, and internal wiring.
- Conduct workshop testing and quality assurance checks.
- Perform screen refurbishment and refurbishment reporting.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Assist with warranty repairs and technical support cases.
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
- Prepare equipment for installation and deployment.
- Ensure workshop cleanliness and organisation.
- Assist with stock management of spare parts and consumables.
- Support field engineers when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience repairing monitors, televisions, digital signage screens, or electronic equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience using multimeters and electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals.
- Good understanding of LCD, LED, and touchscreen technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Electronics qualification or apprenticeship.
- Experience with commercial AV equipment.
- Knowledge of networking and media players.
- Experience with soldering and component-level repairs.
- Experience working with digital signage systems.
- Full clean driving licence.
