Join Our Team at The Grafton Hotel: Assistant Front Office Manager

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the vibrant and passionate team at The Grafton Hotel as an Assistant Front Office Manager.

This is a superb role for a hospitality professional with proven experience in a similar position, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in the daily operations of our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for guests and a key leader for our reception staff, your professionalism, warmth and attention to detail will help set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support the Reception team during daily operations.
Ensure efficient shift management, including break allocation and team updates.
Maintain high standards of guest service, consistently exceeding expectations.
Support training and development of team members according to hotel SOPs.
Ensure all team training is documented in line with internal procedures.
Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
Handle guest check-in/check-out, process payments and manage key security.
Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
Handle reservations, updates and guest requests efficiently and professionally.
Uphold hotel policies in areas such as Fire Safety, Health & Hygiene, Customer Care and Security.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar supervisory front office role.
Previous experience with Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for hospitality.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to lead by example.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and work on your own initiative.
A proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service.
