Full job description

Auralia Hospital is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our Accounts Department.

Working alongside our full-time Bookkeeper, you will assist with the day-to-day financial administration of the hospital, helping to ensure that financial records remain accurate, organised, and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time hours within a professional healthcare environment.

MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

Key Responsibilities

You will assist with a range of bookkeeping and finance duties, including:

Processing purchase invoices and supplier statements.
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Bank reconciliations.
Processing receipts and financial records.
Assisting with payment runs.
Maintaining accurate accounting records.
Supporting month-end accounting processes.
Filing and maintaining financial documentation.
Liaising with suppliers regarding account queries.
Using Dext, QuickBooks and Salesforce as part of the day-to-day management of financial records and related administration.
Providing administrative support to the Accounts Department as required.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Minimum 3 years previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent computer literacy and confidence using Dext, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous.
The ability to work independently while also supporting a small team.
Professional communication skills and a confidential approach to financial information.

Monday to Friday working hours (10:00am to 2:00pm).
