We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Lab Administrator to join our busy Dublin clinic. The Laboratory Administrator will develop competence across all laboratory administrative aspects of assisted reproduction and will support the day-to-day operations of the andrology and embryology laboratories. This role is key to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth laboratory workflow.
Key Responsabilities:

Prepare all laboratory paperwork, labels and documents for upcoming cycles

Liaise with other departments to ensure all required consents, tests and records are uploaded on file, accurate and valid for treatment

Publish laboratory reports to patient portals
- Understand and use EMR (Electronic Medical Record) to produce, validate and file laboratory paperwork

Help in ensuring data record is complete to ease generation of KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

Audit laboratory stock and maintain batch control records accurately

Accept and unpack laboratory deliveries

Receipt and handling of biological samples

Liaise with the donor coordinator for laboratory donor paperwork

Help in shipment organisation

Prepare paperwork and checks involved in disposal of gametes

Witness laboratory procedures
- Review and follow-up on patients requests via emails and EMR actions

Comply with GDPR confidentiality regulations
-
Any other reasonable duties which may arise from time to time to be expected within the laboratories; including being called to witness laboratory procedures on occasional weekends, or being called to help in exceptional circumpstances to ReproMed Galway

Must ensure that personal 'Staff Training Logbook' is maintained and up-to-date

Must acknowledge and comply with all clinic protocols published on the Quality Management System

All staff working in the service will be expected to comply with the legislative requirements of the Tissue Directive- S.I.158 of 2006 and S.I. 598 of 2007. Full training will be provided

It is the duty of all staff to report any problems or concerns to their manager immediately

It is the duty of all staff to report to their manager immediately if they are experiencing any difficulties in executing their responsibilities
What we are looking for:

Lab experience is desirable but not essential

High attention to detail
- Good IT skills

Must have excellent communication skills and develop a good working relationships with all staff accross all departments and with patients

Must understand the importance of quality control in the laboratory and clinic

Must be open to a constantly evolving and learning environment and happy to take on board new ideas and receive feedback

Must adapt to any Corrective Action Request issued as part of the Quality Management System

Working Hours:

40hr working week inclusive of breaks.

8 Hour shift with core operating hours between 8am-4pm.
