Meet the team
RTÉ Commercial is responsible for commercial activity across AV, Audio, Digital, Print and Creative Services.
This role sits within the RTÉ Ad Operations Team, within RTÉ Commercial. This team has established itself in the marketplace as an efficient and trusted operations function, ensuring the accurate, timely, and effective delivery of advertising campaigns across RTÉ's platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Operations, with close collaboration with digital teams and the wider RTÉ Commercial Team, you will be responsible for the operational management, trafficking, and optimisation of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery across RTÉ's platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of digital programmatic ad campaigns - from set up to execution, reporting and analysis.
You will develop a campaign approach and structure as well as managing media and account outputs. You will be responsible for programmatic digital advertising campaign delivery with multiple programmatic partners. You will have a thirst for knowledge in the rapidly changing market of digital advertising and work closely with the wider Commercial team, Operations, Data Analysis & Insight and Account Management team.
About the role
- Good knowledge of Programmatic Display and video

Experience in display advertising and/or online advertising account management or business development

Experience with ad server management (Google Ad Manager specifically)

Motivated by programmatic, RTB, platforms, automation and industry disruption

Demonstrated knowledge of working with a mix of display, video, and CTV inventory

Proven experience in planning and managing multi-market campaigns

Background in media agency or media sales house preferred
- Previous experience with data analysis in Excel

Experience in SSP and DSP ad technology

Candidates must be able to multi-task, prioritise and balance time across clients, multiple partner relationships and internal initiatives on a daily basis while maintaining a profound attention to detail.

This appointment will be made at the Media Sales Assistant 3 grade and is being offered on a fixed purpose (maternity cover) contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €43,575 to €58,727 gross per annum.
