Design, build and maintain robust Power BI semantic models.
Develop and optimise DAX measures, calculations, hierarchies and metadata structures.
Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, scalable and easy to maintain.
Apply best-practice approaches to model design, performance and governance.
Work confidently across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Service environments.
Manage workspaces, apps, semantic model refreshes and deployment processes.
Support access management, environment separation and reporting governance.
Implement and maintain security controls, including Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace permissions and audience management.
Monitor and optimise dashboard performance, load times and user experience.
Review model structures, calculations and filtering strategies to improve efficiency.
Support testing, UAT processes and controlled deployment activities.
Manage change requests, enhancements and ongoing improvements.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective solutions.
Support operational reporting activities, refresh monitoring, access requests and production support.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation covering dashboards, semantic models, measures, data sources and user guidance.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts and wider Analytics Lab teams to deliver integrated reporting solutions.
Proven experience developing and supporting Power BI dashboards in a commercial environment.
Strong expertise in:
Advanced SQL skills, including:
Writing and optimising complex queries
Creating and maintaining views

Supporting reporting dataset development
Strong understanding of data structures, dimensional modelling and reporting architectures.
Experience translating business requirements into well-designed, user-friendly reporting solutions.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and balancing project delivery, enhancement requests and BAU support activities.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including workspaces, security models, deployments and semantic models.
Experience within Insurance, Financial Services, or a data and analytics-focused environment.
Understanding of how BI solutions are supported by data engineering pipelines and modern cloud data platforms.
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about turning complex data into meaningful business insight.
Detail-oriented, quality-focused and committed to delivering reliable, accurate reporting solutions.
Able to work independently while effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
A strong communicator who can confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable challenging requirements, asking the right questions and ensuring reporting solutions deliver genuine business value.
Collaborative, proactive and excited to be part of a growing analytics function.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking analytics team at the heart of a global organisation. You'll work with modern technologies, large-scale datasets and business stakeholders across multiple markets, helping shape how data is used to drive better outcomes for clients, colleagues and partners.
