Carpenter (1st & 2nd Fix)

Location: Westport & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time / permanent
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team on high-end projects. This role involves both 1st fix (structural) and 2nd fix (finishing) carpentry, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

1st fix carpentry: studwork, joists, roofing, door frames, and structural elements
2nd fix carpentry: doors, skirting, architraves, panelling, kitchens, and bespoke joinery
Work from drawings and site instructions to a high standard
Ensure all finishes meet high-end residential expectations
Coordinate with site management and other trades

Requirements

Proven experience in 1st & 2nd fix carpentry
Experience on high-end projects preferred
Ability to read drawings and work independently
Strong attention to detail and finish
Own tools and transport preferred
Valid Safe Pass

Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication with site management and other trades
Professional attitude on high-spec projects
