Full job description

The Bay Horse, Granard is currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable bar staff to join our team.

We are a busy, friendly local pub with a strong focus on customer service, atmosphere and community. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing a warm welcome to every customer.

Responsibilities:

Serving drinks and handling cash/card payments
Providing excellent customer service
Preparing and maintaining the bar area
Restocking and replenishing stock as required
Keeping work areas clean and tidy
Assisting with opening and closing duties
Working efficiently during busy periods, including live music and special events
Ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous bar experience is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided for the right person
Friendly, approachable and professional
Excellent communication and people skills
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy periods

Schedule:

Evening shifts
Weekend availability required
Additional hours may be available during holidays and events
