The Bay Horse, Granard is currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable bar staff to join our team.
We are a busy, friendly local pub with a strong focus on customer service, atmosphere and community. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing a warm welcome to every customer.
Responsibilities:
- Serving drinks and handling cash/card payments
- Providing excellent customer service
- Preparing and maintaining the bar area
- Restocking and replenishing stock as required
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Working efficiently during busy periods, including live music and special events
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous bar experience is desirable but not essential – full training can be provided for the right person
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and busy periods
Schedule:
- Evening shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Additional hours may be available during holidays and events
