CJ SHEERAN, Ireland’s largest manufacturer and recycler of timber packaging and pallets are are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening client relationships, improving internal processes, and driving operational excellence, while using data and insights to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties will include:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales operations and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process automation and system integration, with a focus on the ERP system and other business systems
- Standardise and document all operational procedures, ensuring best practices are followed across departments
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments ensuring alignment of goals and smooth communication
- Assist in developing pricing strategies that reflect market conditions, profitability targets, and customer needs
- Provide financial insights and sales data to support decision-making and revenue optimisation strategies
- Oversee the customer onboarding process, ensuring seamless transitions for new clients and setting the stage for long-term relationships
- Work with the sales and finance teams to refine documentation, contracts and agreements
- Drive customer service improvements to ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Serve as the escalation point for complex customer issues, working towards timely resolutions and enhancing overall customer experience
- Develop and maintain KPIs for sales performance, customer service efficiency, and operational effectiveness
- Leverage data analysis and forecasting tools to provide actionable insights that inform leadership decisions
- Generate and deliver reports on sales trends, customer feedback, process efficiency, and overall performance to senior management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring seamless communication
- Oversee assigned members of the sales administration team and act as a liaison between them and Sales Director, providing daily support and ensuring smooth operations
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of sales operations, revenue strategy, and customer service management
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and process automation
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills
