Social Media Manager: In-House Brand Channels

About the role

Lemon7 is an AI-native performance marketing and content production agency based in Cork. This is not a client-facing role. You will own and grow Lemon7's own media ecosystem: the channels that build our brand, our audience, and our pipeline.

That means running 3 to 5 accounts under one internal content system:

Lemon7

The agency brand: build-in-public, behind-the-scenes, agency life, AI-in-marketing content.

Craving Cork

Our Cork food and hospitality media brand with an established audience of 75k+.

Founder channels

Supporting the personal brands of our founders and senior team. Our founder's channels alone have 150k+ followers, with 180k+ across all channels, so you will be working on high-profile, established accounts from day one.

You will be the engine behind all of it: ideating, filming, editing, publishing, and reporting. You will work directly with the founders day to day, with specialist support on tap (including in-house video editors for bigger productions), but the day-to-day content machine is yours.

This is a rare setup: agency resources, media-brand audiences, and full creative ownership without client sign-off cycles.

The short version

Full-time permanent, studio-based in Cork
In-house channels only, no client sign-off cycles
Base salary plus commission on social-sourced clients

What you will actually do

Plan and run a rolling content calendar across all channels
Ideate, shoot, and edit short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) as your primary format
Be comfortable on camera: presenting, interviewing, appearing in skits and trends where it fits the brand
Direct and capture content with the founders and team: prep them, brief them, and turn 20 minutes of their time into a week of content
Edit proficiently in a tool of your choice (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, whatever you are fastest in)
Write hooks, captions, and copy that sound human and drive action
Manage community: replies, DMs, engagement
Brief in-house specialists when content needs a heavier production touch
Track what is working (views, follows, saves, shares, leads) and adjust the plan
Stay on top of trends and move fast when there is a moment worth jumping on

Who we are looking for

Some hands-on social media experience: a brand, an agency, or a personal account you have genuinely grown. Proof of output, not job titles
Genuinely outgoing. You will be on camera regularly, so personality is a core skill for this role, not a nice-to-have
A natural content creator: you see ideas everywhere, shoot on a phone, and turn footage around same-day
Proficient in at least one professional or semi-professional editing tool
Organised and self-managing, able to juggle multiple brands and founder diaries
Comfortable working closely with founders while bringing your own point of view
A feel for Cork and Irish culture is a big plus, especially for Craving Cork

No degree required. We care about how good you are, not where you studied.

Competitive base salary plus commission: a percentage of the first three months' retainer on every new client closed where the originating source was our social channels. We already close clients from social today, and every one of those leads is attributed to this role
