Are you interested in mechanical repairs and looking to start a career in a skilled trade?

Comeragh Machinery & Auto Repairs is looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team and complete the recognised SOLAS Construction Plant Fitting Apprenticeship.

The Role

You'll receive hands-on training while learning to:

Carry out servicing and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles
Service, maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Use modern workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
Work safely and to a high standard

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to learn.
An interest in cars, machinery or mechanics is important, but previous experience isn't essential.
Applicants must meet the relevant SOLAS apprenticeship entry requirements.
Applicant must hold either a full drivers licence or learners permit
Commitment to a 4-year programme that involves both on and off-the-job training which will require travel to designated Solas Centres
