Location: Shannon, Co. Clare (initially office-based, with hybrid working potential)

Reports to: SVP Commercial EMEA
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive professional who wants to develop their career in the logistics and pharmaceutical industry.

This is a lead generation role. Your primary responsibility will be identifying, engaging and qualifying new business opportunities that build Frontier's commercial pipeline. Working closely with the SVP Commercial EMEA, you will generate qualified sales opportunities through targeted prospecting, LinkedIn, networking, referrals and industry engagement while building relationships across the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Business Development

Generate qualified sales opportunities (meetings) through LinkedIn, targeted prospecting, referrals, networking and market research.
Identify and prioritise target pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare companies that align with Frontier's strategic growth objectives.
Research prospective customers to understand their supply chain, manufacturing footprint, logistics requirements and commercial potential.
Develop targeted outreach campaigns to secure introductory meetings for the Commercial team.
Calling and reaching out to potential customers.
Qualify inbound enquiries and determine strategic fit before progressing opportunities.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and consistently identify new market opportunities.

Market Intelligence

Monitor industry developments, investments, manufacturing expansions and market trends to identify potential business opportunities.
Build and maintain intelligence on target accounts, competitors and emerging sectors.
Support the Commercial team with research and preparation for customer meetings and strategic opportunities.

Commercial Support

Build professional relationships with customers, industry contacts and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking and pipeline reporting.
Support customer onboarding and assist throughout the sales cycle.
Attend industry conferences, networking events and customer visits.
Assist with marketing initiatives, LinkedIn activity and brand development.
Provide administrative support to the Commercial team where required.

Requirements

Essential

1-2 years' experience in business development, sales, marketing or commercial support, ideally within the pharmaceutical, life sciences or logistics sectors.
Strong interest in business development and generating new commercial opportunities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Commercial awareness with an ability to identify business opportunities.
Highly organised with strong research and analytical skills.
Confident using LinkedIn and digital prospecting tools.
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Self-motivated with ambition, resilience and a willingness to learn.

Desirable

Third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience working in pharmaceutical logistics, healthcare or supply chain industries.
Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
